The September Concert

Fourth Annual September Concert Returns to Morningside Park This Sunday, September 11th

The message of these annual free concerts on September 11th is to bring people together in an expression of our universal humanity. In the wake of hurricane Katrina and its aftermath, reaffirming our togetherness seems all the more appropriate.

This year the concert moves to a lovely contemplative setting. Join us on the lawn just inside the park entrance at 113th St. and Morningside Drive. This beautiful natural amphitheater overlooks Central Harlem to the east while The Cathedral Church of St John the Divine serves as a backdrop to the southwest.

Here are the details.

Date: Sunday, September 11th
Time: Noon - 6:00pm
Place: Inside the Park at Morningside Drive and 113th Street
