Our "Seeds of Renewal" Fundraiser Was a Great Success!

Our event raised over $20K for our endowment fund and was a great party. Thanks to all our contributors! We also couldn't have done it without in-kind donations from so many businesses including Bistro 1018, Martin Brothers Wines and Spirits, Harlem Vintage, Katrina Parris Flowers, Milano Market, Epicure World Foods, Central Market, University Housewares and the Galley Restaurant in Nantucket!

Partnership for Parks Launches a New Newsletter

Morningside Park is part of the Historic Harlem Parks Coalition which also includes St. Nicholas, Jackie Robinson, and Marcus Garvey parks. Today the Partnership for Parks launched a new newsletter "Harlem Happenings" covering events and highlighting the work of volunteers in the coalition parks.

This issue features an article on one of our own committee chairs, Monique Martin, who organizes our "Blanket and Basket" summer concert series.

Be sure to download a copy for yourself and let us know if you'd like to be put on a mailing list to receive it on a regular basis.

See you in the park!
