Since our founding in 1981 Friends of Morningside Park has hosted hundreds of free events for the community, including the annual Common Ground Festival, Spring Celebration, Earth Day, and the Holiday Tree Lighting. We have partnered with Columbia University on the Morningside Lights lantern procession and also partner with local artists like Faces of Harlem.
