The Morningside Explorers Program is designed for children ages 4-6 who enjoy the outdoors and have a natural curiosity about animals, bugs, plants and the environment. The workshops engage caregivers and their children in interactive activities to investigate Morningside Park.

We are thrilled that the 2024 workshops will be sponsored by Barnard College.

Interested families can sign up for each workshop individually at our registration link. Registration for each workshop will open the Thursday prior to the session.

Workshops will be held the following Tuesdays from 3:30pm – 5:00pm:

June 11: Bird Buds

June 18: Inspecting Insects

June 25: Magic in the Park

Workshops are free with only 12 openings per session. Pre-registration at our registration link is required, and spots fill fast!

Parents or caretakers are required to accompany children in this program and participate in all activities. Please email steam@barnard.edu with any questions.
